Dombivli - The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) authorities have finally taken up the water pipeline repair works from Tuesday. This repair work is going to affect water supply in Dombivli East localities.
According to sources, the main water distribution pipeline in the Bandish Palace square on New Kalyan Road was leaked a month back. The leaked water flow resulted in damaging the road. The paver blocks used by the concerned authorities could not stopped deterioration of the road.
The wastage of water forced Mandar Halbe, leader of opposition in the KDMC, to write a letter for drawing attention of executive engineer Rajiv Pathak towards this problem.
