Dombivli - The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has decided to strictly implement its policy for roadside vendors. Under this policy, vendors in the city will be rehabilitated. The civic body has suggested some options to the roadside vendors. No action on part of vendors is being initiated in this regard as leaders representing vendors are held in the judicial custody. Meanwhile, the KDMC has kept this policy aside due to ongoing Ganesh festival. On the other hand, local residents have expressed satisfaction as no vendors are seen around railway station these days.
