Mumbai cyclist Shivraj Roman shines in national-level competition




Dombivli - Mumbai cyclist Shivraj Roman bagged third prize in a prestigious national-level online trekking competition organised by the ‘Kota Cycling Community’.

This annual competition which is recognised as “Cycling 2020” was participated by over 200 cyclists from 17 States. These cyclists had to cover a distance of 20 kilometer a day.

Many cyclists from Maharashtra had registered their participation in this competition.

Jodhpur-based 53-year-old cyclist Ajay Tatiya won the competition by covering a distance of 4125 km. Mandeep Dhillon of Bhatinda bagged the second prize while Shivraj Roman of Mumbai stood third in this competition.

Facing many difficulties Shivraj covered a distance of 2911 km in 20 days and stood first from the State of Maharashtra.
Shankar Gandhve and Rajendra Khetre from Maharashtra also gave their outstanding performances in this competition.

This competition, organised with an aim to maintain health in a hectic day to day life, received encouraging response as cyclists from all age categories participated in it.
